Care that puts family first

With over 100 chiropractic clinics in Singapore, patients tell us they chose Family Health for four reasons.

No packages. Ever.

Every visit is billed individually. No prepaid bundles, no lock-ins, no pressure — and our doctors are not on commission. You decide when to return.

Gentle, no cracking

We use modern low-force techniques — no twisting, popping, or cracking of the spine at all. Comfortable for nervous first-timers, children, and seniors alike.

USA-trained doctors

Both our chiropractors graduated Summa Cum Laude from Sherman College of Chiropractic (USA) and serve on the board of The Chiropractic Association (Singapore).

Root cause, not symptoms

We look for the cause of a problem rather than masking it — and if chiropractic isn't the right care for you, we'll say so and refer you onward.

02 —

Conditions we commonly see

From desk-bound tech neck to pregnancy-related pain, our doctors care for a wide range of spinal and musculoskeletal concerns.

C/01

Back pain

The most common reason patients visit us — acute strains, chronic pain, disc herniations, and postural back pain.

C/02

Neck pain & tech neck

Desk work and heavy phone use drive forward-head posture, stiffness, and cervical disc issues. Gentle cervical care restores mobility.

C/03

Sciatica

Pain, numbness, or tingling radiating from the lower back down the leg — often from a disc pressing on the sciatic nerve root.

C/04

Headaches & migraines

Many headaches begin in the neck. Upper-cervical adjustments with soft-tissue work can reduce their frequency and intensity.

C/05

Posture correction

Forward head, rounded shoulders, hunchback — assessed and corrected through adjustments, specific exercises, and ergonomic advice.

C/06

Scoliosis

We help manage pain, posture, and mobility for scoliosis patients, working alongside other healthcare providers where needed.

C/07

Shoulder pain

Rotator cuff problems, frozen shoulder, and sports-related shoulder complaints — addressed at the joint and the spine.

C/08

Pregnancy-related pain

Lower back, pelvic girdle, and round-ligament pain — cared for with the Webster Technique, safe in every trimester.

C/09

Sports injuries

Sprains, strains, and overuse syndromes — we help you recover and optimise your biomechanics to reduce re-injury.

Not sure if we can help?

Gentle by technique, not by chance

No one-size-fits-all adjustments. Each technique is selected for your condition, age, and comfort — and none of them involve cracking.

T/01

Koren Specific Technique (KST)

Instrument-assisted precision using the ArthroStim — low-force impulses to specific spinal and cranial structures, with no twisting or popping. Dr Kelvin Ng is a KST mentor.

Best for — first-timers · children · seniors · headaches & TMJ
T/02

Activator Method

A spring-loaded instrument delivers a controlled impulse faster than muscles can tense — quiet, comfortable, and systematic.

Best for — no-cracking preference · elderly · acute muscle spasm
T/03

Thompson Drop-Table

A specialised table section drops away as the adjustment is made, letting the table do the work with minimal force.

Best for — pelvic alignment · low back pain · sciatica
T/04

Webster Technique

A pregnancy-specific protocol balancing the pelvis and easing ligament tension — safe in all trimesters. Both doctors are ICPA-certified.

Best for — pregnancy · pelvic girdle pain · foetal positioning support
T/05

Diversified Technique

The world's most widely practised chiropractic method — precise manual corrections, available where clinically appropriate for adults.

Best for — joint restrictions throughout the body
T/06

Soft Tissue Therapy

Trigger-point release, myofascial work, and instrument-assisted mobilisation to complement every adjustment.

Best for — tight muscles · scar tissue · recovery support
Our promise: we do not perform cracking or popping adjustments at all. The audible "pop" is just gas releasing from a joint — harmless, but never required. Our care is quiet, specific, and adapted to you.

In our patients' own words

"

Great doctor, quiet, knowledgeable, measured approach, looks at the patient and not merely at the symptoms. I am pleased, I think you will be too!

"

My little one says how much she wants to go to the doctor and lie down on the bed… I realise she's not talking about our GP but about our chiropractor. That's how awesome he is with kids — and adults, and pregnant ladies!

Ms Michelle MohlmanSingapore
"

The hectic weekend (and wearing heels) did quite big damage to my lower back — I couldn't straighten up at all. Feeling so much better now with a straightened back after being adjusted. Thank you!

Questions, answered honestly

Does chiropractic involve cracking or popping?+
Not at our clinic. The audible "crack" is simply gas releasing from a joint — painless and harmless, but not required. We use modern low-force techniques that achieve the same therapeutic effect gently and quietly, without twisting or forced movements.
How many visits will I need?+
It depends on your condition and goals. Acute problems often improve within 3–6 visits; chronic conditions may take 6–12 with gradual improvement. After each visit we'll tell you honestly whether we think another session will help — maintenance care is entirely optional, never a requirement.
Is chiropractic claimable under Medisave or insurance?+
Chiropractic is not currently claimable under Medisave or MediShield Life in Singapore. However, many corporate group plans and some integrated shield riders do cover it — check your policy. We provide itemised receipts and clinical summaries to support your claim.
Do I need a referral to see a chiropractor?+
No. You can book directly with us without a GP or specialist referral. If you have been referred, any clinical notes, X-rays, or MRI scans are welcome and helpful — digital copies on your phone are fine.
Will my first adjustment hurt?+
You should not experience pain during your adjustment — most patients describe a gentle, targeted pressure, often followed by immediate relief of tension. Some feel mild, workout-like soreness for 24–48 hours afterwards as the body adapts; this passes quickly.
What should I wear and bring?+
Comfortable, loose clothing — activewear or relaxed trousers work well; avoid tight jeans and belts. You stay fully clothed. Bring any relevant scans, a list of medications, and your insurance card if you plan to claim.
Is chiropractic safe for children and during pregnancy?+
Yes, with appropriately trained doctors. Both our chiropractors are certified by the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association in the Webster Technique for pregnancy care, and use extremely gentle low-force methods for infants and children — our youngest patient was 4 days old.
